UIC MCH faculty and collaborators author new article on PRAMS

Last month, three UIC faculty members joined with MCH colleagues across the US to author an article in the American Journal of Public Health titled "Shuttering the Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS): A Dangerous Attack on US Mothers and Infants." Drs. Handler, Rankin, and Velonis, whom are all part of the UIC School of Public Health, and Drs. Johnson, James, and Kotelchuck, shared their opinions as maternal and child health researchers and experts on the the shuttering of PRAMS and the essential information collected over the last almost 40 years via the health data collection system.

You can read the article on the APHA website here, with your member login information. Otherwise, you can access the article through the UIC library here. It should be available via most other library systems as well.
