UIC CoE-MCH Alum Selected as 40 Under 40 in Public Health
At a time when public health is top of mind, the de Beaumont Foundation has announced its second list of “40 Under 40 in Public Health,” recognizing rising leaders who are improving the health of communities across the country. Included in this group is UIC CoE MCH alum Regina Meza (’14). Regina currently works as a Grants Specialist at the Chicago Department of Public Health.
This year’s list honors leaders from across the country who have strengthened the public health system and made communities healthier. They represent a range of backgrounds and roles, including epidemiologists, emergency response, researchers, and policy analysts in state and local health departments, colleges and universities, and nonprofit organizations.
Congratulations Regina on your achievement!
