About

Margaret (Maggie) Agwomoh is a first year Master of Public Health Student in the Community Health Sciences division with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health. As a Pre-Med student, she graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in May 2021 with her BS in Psychology and a minor in Public Health. She is passionate about perinatal health, postpartum care, and maternal nutrition. With her Master’s degree she hopes to gain more knowledge within the public health field and its connection to medicine and nutrition. She would like to work in OB/GYN helping women and babies with proper nutrition, lactation consulting, and sonography.

Fun fact- Margaret started a non-profit clothing drive called “Shop the Rack”, where she collects donated clothes and passes them to people in need. The name “Shop the Rack” was inspired by her love for fashion and her experience working in retail for over 5 years. She is aware that going shopping and looking through clothes is not a luxury that most people experience. As a result, she works hard to make the experience as personal as possible.
